okay, so these two. i don't know how i get to work with some of the sweetest and kindest couples on the planet, but i do and i'm beyond grateful. beyond being the sweetest human ever in her emails, Kelly immediately agreed to the idea of an early morning time for her and Jon's engagement session. these two woke up at the crack of dawn to meet me in Patapsco Park, climb around the most random spot right off the road, fall a couple of times, get attacked by splinter bushes, all while being cute and silly and beautiful all at the same time.
finally FINALLY met this babe back in february after being Instagram friends for so long; that beautiful platform is seriously one of my favorite ways to meet amazing humans and olivia is no exception. obviously we had coffee and then wandered around shooting some photos of her gorgeous face! thanks for showing me your favorite back alleys lady -- can't wait to explore with you again soon!!
photos from one of my favorite favorite types of days: coffee shop hopping (we hit four coffee shops in this day), wall- and alley-hunting, food exploring, and just laughing constantly with the one and only erin freakin' krespan.
we had about 45 minutes to wander around Blagden Alley, which is quickly becoming one of my favorite corners of the city. they braved the windy cold, trusted me when i suggested heading into a random parking garage (until we were kicked out...), and put up with me climbing on chairs and tables at the end of our shoot as we warmed up with some lattes in La Colombe (a usual occurrence -- I've gotten used to the stares). a barista even provided us with a special latte art design in a heart when he saw me photographing these two cuties in the corner!
she's a hella talented photographer, but beyond that, she works two jobs, 7 days a week, and takes classes at the same time, with one goal in mind: moving back to California in the spring, living and working there and photographing every single day. that first day at Ceremony Coffee (my favorite), I'm pretty sure my jaw was hanging as I listened to how fearlessly she's pursuing her dreams.
