Anna showed up in my inbox back in November (she's friends with Liz!) asking if i would be down to photograph her and her fiancée Mike exploring around DC when they traveled back for a celebratory long weekend of re-discovering their favorite spots in the city they met. i pretty much jumped out of my seat because exploring-city-nostalgic-engagement-HECKYES that's what i'm all about. (that's a sentence, right?)
we spent a couple of hours around Dupont Circle, starting in Bistro Du Coin where they had been regulars, roaming around the gorgeous neighborhood, and ending up at the National Gallery of Art (where I had photographed Alma + Mike a couple weeks earlier!) luckily the bitter cold winter we've had in the DMV area let up for just that one day, and we were able to avoid freezing outside!
anna and mike, you guys are amazing and i had SO much fun with you that saturday. thank you for being down for an adventure, for laughing when i stopped mid-conversation because i saw a location to explore, for trusting my crazy ideas and for being happy + in love, which is all i truly care about in the end. ;)
